Everyone who attends a hosted murder mystery gets their own character to play. We want your guests to feel included and we certainly don’t want anybody missing out on the fun.
The characters we send you are PDF files that contain information about your character, story and instructions on what to do when, or if, you are spoken to by the Chief Inspector.
All the characters are unique and are sent to you in two categories:
- Major Characters: Directly involved in the investigation.
- Minor Characters: Get involved if they like, or just sit back and enjoy the fun.
There is no hard and fast rule as to how to best play your part in a murder mystery game. We say, just turn up and have as much fun as you like. It really is as simple as that.

Dressing up
It adds to the spirit of the night if you decide to dress up, but it’s by no means essential. You can dress yourself up, dress the venue up or just simply turn up.
