Faq's

Who plays the murderer?
The murderer is always played by one of your guests. As to the identity of the murderer, that's for us to know and you to find out.

Do we have to remember our details?
Of course not. Everyone is encouraged to read directly from the sheets on the night.

We have a few shy people.
Not a problem, just assign them the minor parts.

Will I find out whodunnit?
No and thats becuase the sheets you distribute only contain half the story.

Playing your part in a murder mystery

In order to play a murder mystery you need to be assigned a character. These characters are usually divided into two categories:

  • Major characters
Great for those who like the spotlight.
  • Minor characters
Perfect for those who would like to play but not be so heavily involved.

The character sheets we send you contain information about your character, story and instructions on what to do when or if you are questioned by the Chief Inspector.

Once you receive the characters just give them out as you see fit. Your guests or staff are free to make as much of their characters as they like.

Dressing up

Obviously it adds to the spirit of the night if you decide to dress up but its by no means essential. In fact dressing up is entirely optional, you can dress yourself up, dress up the venue or simply turn up. It's up to you.
